Use 2-9x13” pans, (can half recipe for 1 pan).
Grease pan with butter.
Line bottom with buttered white bread (crusts removed).
Sprinkle over bread: ½ lb. cheese grated, 2 lb. cooked cubed ham (or cooked bacon), chopped green onions.
Over this pour: 22 beaten eggs with 9 cups milk, salt & pepper to taste.
Add lots of slice mushrooms.
Cover pan & refrigerate overnight.
Cook at 350º about 1 hour 15 minutes
