No Knead Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients
  

Combine, then scald and let cool

  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp shortening
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Combine and set aside for 10 minutes

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pkg yeast

Instructions
 

  • To cooled first mixture add ½ cup cold water.
  • Blend in 1 egg, add yeast mixture. Then stir in 4-5 cups flour, enough for a soft dough.
  • Let rise 15 minutes.
  • Roll out on a well-floured board.
  • Spread with ½ cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon mixed.
  • Roll up and cut in 1 inch slices and place about 2 inches apart in a greased pan.
  • Let rise 1 hour.
  • Just before you put them in the oven brush cream over the buns and bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes.
