Pour boiling water over raisins.
Combine cornmeal with 1 cup buttermilk.
Into large bowl, sift dry ingredients.
In medium bowl, beat egg, oil, money and remaining buttermilk.
Add liquid mixture to cornmeal and buttermilk.
Stir liquid mixture into dry. Add drained raisins.
Fill muffin cups and bake.
