Ingredients

hot water

shortening

flour
Instructions
Combine hot water, salt, sugar and shortening in bowl; let stand till cool; add egg and yeast.
Add flour until mixture handles easily.
Let stand 5 minutes and shape in rolls.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes.
