Foolproof Dark Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 1/2 pkgs, 12-oz each)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz, NOT EVAPORATED
- Dash salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line 8 or 9” square pan with foil or waxed paper, extending foil over edges of pan.
- Melt chocolate chips in top of double boiler.
- When chips are completely melted and smooth remove from heat and add sweetened condensed milk and salt.
- Stir in walnuts and vanilla.
- Spread evenly into prepared pan.
Notes
To make white chocolate fudge melt the chips and condensed milk TOGETHER. Then add pistachio nuts and dried cranberries. Can also substitute almond extract for the vanilla.
