Dark Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 Hershey’s cocoa
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk or sour milk
- 1 cup strong black coffee
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Combine first six ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Batter will be thin.
- Pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2” pan.
- Bake at 350ºF for 35-40 minutes.
