No Knead Cinnamon Buns
Ingredients
Combine, then scald and let cool
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tbsp shortening
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
Combine and set aside for 10 minutes
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pkg yeast
Instructions
- To cooled first mixture add ½ cup cold water.
- Blend in 1 egg, add yeast mixture. Then stir in 4-5 cups flour, enough for a soft dough.
- Let rise 15 minutes.
- Roll out on a well-floured board.
- Spread with ½ cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon mixed.
- Roll up and cut in 1 inch slices and place about 2 inches apart in a greased pan.
- Let rise 1 hour.
- Just before you put them in the oven brush cream over the buns and bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes.
