Country Style Beans and Port
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 medium-sized onions chopped
- 1 green pepper finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes chopped
- 3 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 can deep-browned beans (19-oz)
- 1 bay leaf
- Canadian Bacon
- 1/2 clove garlic minced
Instructions
- Sauté onion in butter; add green pepper and tomatoes, cook 5 minutes.
- Add rest of ingredients; simmer 5 minutes.
- Place in a 2-1/2 quart casserole.
- Top with Canadian bacon; bake in 350ºF oven for 20 minutes.
